Lurtherville, Md House Cleanout

After 51 years living in the same house a family of five can collect a lot of stuff. Our truck teams cleaned out a house for an estate cleanout that kept several of our trucks busy most of the day. We cleaned out the attic, closets, basement, garage, tool shed, front and rear yards and of course the rest of the house. All the items in cabinets, closets or stacked up had to be bagged then carried out. All of the furniture was then removed. But, by the end of the day we had the house empty and broom swept. Now, the handyman comes in next for some minor fixes and the house gets spruced up for the next owner. That’s often our jobs, out with the old and in with the new. The house cleanout in Lurtherville, Md was a lot of fun for us. We keep busy all day and see the fruits of our work at the end.

Marietta, Ga Estate Cleanout

Almost every day in each city we operate our truck teams are doing estate cleanouts. Each one varies in size and the amount of material the family needs to be removed. Often times members of the family already have their houses, apartments, condos full of their own furnishings so we deal with the rest. All of the valuables and family memory items are often removed by the time we arrive. Our teams get to work bagging and removing all other items, right from where they sit. Much of those everyday furnishings and household goods are donated the rest are sent to recycle centers. There is a comfort to the family knowng their parents things will do some good for others. We had a few estate cleanouts in Marietta, Ga this past week. We also had others in Alpharetta, Roswell, and Powder Springs, Ga. Each estate clean out was very different circumstances yet each had their own silver lining for some family in need.

House Cleanouts Horsham Pa

We often get asked how does our service work? Simple, call us with a time and day you want one of our truck teams there and we call thirty minutes prior to our arrival. Once they arrive just show our truck team everything you need removed and we will provide an estimate based upon the amount of space your unwanted material takes up in our truck. So, we simply charge by volume. There are a few pricing exceptions like pianos, pulling up carpets, stone, concrete and things like that but for the most part we simply charge by volume. Lately, our Bucks County truck crews have been busy doing house cleanouts in Horsham, Hatboro and the Doylestown area. We know the area well since our commercial crews spent almost forty-five days cleaning out the Willow Grove Naval Air Station.  We had a crew of twenty or more guys there on and off for forty five days. Out With The Old Patio Furniture:Baltimore

The patio furniture must be coming out of the garages and garden sheds around this time of the year. We have had plenty of families call us to haulout their old furniture. We seem to picking up a lot of patio furniture, barbecue grills, basketball backboards, swing sets, garden tools and most of all the garden shed itself. Wood or steel we remove tool sheds and swing sets (jungle gyms).  Every other day though we are picking up old patio furniture with the old grills as from the look of some of the items it has long been time to replace them. Hot Tub Removal Atlanta Ga

Must be the season for hot tub removals as our truck teams in Atlanta, Baltimore, Washington, DC and Philadelphia have been removing hot tubs (or sometimes called spa removals) daily. There is a process which they units get removed and if not done properly there is all sorts of risk for property damage and personal injury. Step one however begins with making sure the hot tub is empty before our hot tub removal team arrives. You would be surprised at the number of units we remove that have not done that.  The last thing we want to do is work in soggy ground which will leave mud foot prints all over. Secondly, make sure the power is disconnected. It’s best to have a licensed electrician come in and disconnect and cap the electrical cable to the hot tub. Our junk removal team will do the rest. House Cleanout Jamesion Pa

It seems to be that time of the year when real estate agents are busy selling and closing real estate transactions. Many of the calls we receive are for families that are now downsizing. We did several home cleanouts the last few days in Bucks County including Doylestown, Chalfont and Jamesion, Pa.  The families move from Jamesion to downtown Philly was not that uncommon for us. However, they were downsizing from a 3500 square foot house to a 1500 square foot condo. So, we remove alot of items that were directly donated to familes in Philly. That is what our customer wanted to see

Garage Cleanout Atlanta Ga

It’s amazing to us and often times to our customers the things you find during a cleanout. Often times when you have items that have been packed away and out of sight for years you forget about them. Recently during cleaning out a garage for a family estate our guys came across a box which was clearly marked “family albums.” We put it aside for the family to look at just in case and we are glad we did. Inside the box the photographs told the history of three generations of a family which they believed had long been lost. A somber occasion quickly turned joyous for everyone including our guys. A couple of the projects completed this past week in the nations capital included several kitchen renovation projects. Sometimes we receive the call from the homeowner and others a contractor. Trash Removal Westminster, Md & Baltimore, Md

Our junk removal crews were bagging up a lot of trash from tenants who left it behind in rental properties. There is always a risk of having some bad tennats and we often get the calls. Piles and piles of trash, old cloths, broken toys and just plain junk left behind in apartments in Westminster and Baltimore, Md this past week. Our crews go in bag up all the trash, remove everything , load the truck and sweep up afterwards.
